The Nutrition Society of Nigeria (NSN), Osun State Chapter, commemorated World Hypertension Day 2026 on May 17, 2026, through a virtual awareness programme themed “Controlling Hypertension Together.”
The programme brought together nutrition and health professionals, stakeholders, and participants for discussions centered on hypertension prevention, healthy lifestyle practices, early detection, and effective management strategies.
The event emphasized the importance of collective efforts in reducing the burden of hypertension and promoting improved cardiovascular health within communities.
