Rivers State Chapter joined the rest of the world to commomerate the 2025 World Breastfeeding Week with the theme: Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems.

Borno State officially flagged off the 2025 World Breastfeeding Week on 2nd August, 2025, at the State Specialist Hospital Maiduguri, under the theme “Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems.”

Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti on Tuesday, inaugurated the Abia State Council on Nutrition to implement the Nutrition 774 (N-774) Initiative of the Federal Government in Abia State.

The Nutrition Society of Nigeria (NSN) executives, led by Professor Salisu Abubakar (Current NSN President), alongside Professor W. A. Afolabi (NSN Immediate Past President), Professor Bartholomew Brai (NSN Past President), Professor Folake Samuel (Ex-Officio), and Dr. Oluwaseun Ariyo (NSN General Secretary), paid a courtesy visit to the Oyo State Primary Healthcare Board, Ibadan, Oyo State.
